Flavours

I offer many flavours and fillings and am always happy to try new recipes, however these are my signature flavours and fillings.

Vanilla Bean : Madagascan Vanilla bean with raspberry or strawberry jam and buttercream.

Lemon Surprise : Zesty lemon filled with Lemon curd and lemon buttercream.

Oh Chocolate!! : Double Chocolate filled with chocolate buttercream or Ganache.

Traditional Fruitcake: Rich moist fruitcake, laced with Brandy and covered in marzipan.

I bake my cakes as near as possible to the required date to ensure their freshness, and all the fresh ingredients are mostly organic and locally sourced.

 

Allergies and Special Dietary Requirements

Please contact me if you have any special dietary requirements.

* Nuts: The  fruitcakes are the only cakes that contain nuts as an ingredient, although a nut free recipe is available on request. All of our other flavours do not contain nuts as an ingredient.

* Wheat gluten: As standard all of our cakes contain wheat gluten. I can make any of our cakes wheat and gluten free, the fruit cake, carrot cake and chocolate cake work best with the wheat free flour.

* Alcohol: fruitcakes are made with brandy, but I can also make them alcohol free if required

*Eggs: All of my cakes contain free range eggs as standard.

*Dairy: All of my cakes contain dairy.

 

Pricing Guide

Please contact me for a more detailed quote as I would be more than happy to try and work to your budget.  All of my cakes are custom made, so prices will vary depending on design, number of servings and so forth, but as a rough guide:

Cupcakes range from £2 each to £5 for the most intricate, with there being a minimum order of 6.

Giant Cupcakes start from £35 each.

3D cakes start from £50

Celebration cakes start from £45 each for one tier, £70 for 2 tiers.
(Prices may fluctuate slightly depending on sizes required)

Wedding cakes 3+ tiers from £250

 

Lead Times
I ask for 3 months notice when ordering wedding cakes, and 1 month for other celebration cakes, however depending on our schedule, I may be able to accept orders at shorter notice.

Payment terms
To confirm an order, a non-refundable deposit of 40% is required. The balance is due 21 days before the delivery or collection of the cake. I accept payment by cash, cheque, and BACS transfer.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your order for any reason up to twenty one (21) days before the date of your event, the deposit (40%) is non-refundable. All other monies paid will be refunded by cheque within ten (10) business days. If your order is cancelled less than twenty one (21) days from the designated event date, you shall receive a refund of 50% of the total cost.

Cake Design Alterations

Design alterations can be made up to but no later than 21 days before collection/delivery. If the alteration affects the cost then your balance will be adjusted accordingly.
